I have to say this was also one of the most stressful shopping trip for me. The cashier was not so friendly at all. When I handed her a stack of coupons she sighed so I knew that I might have a hard time. Sure enough, she refused to take Target coupon with manufacturing coupon. So I asked her politely to ask the manager. The manager confirmed that they can't do that. So I don't want to fight that battle. Plus Mr. Rojo started to move away from me further and further. I was afraid he will just go wait in the car. hehe.. I just help them sort through the coupons and pulled back Target coupons that I planned to use. But if they did take all my coupons, I will be paying less than $10!!!!

That's a great trip! Sorry they gave you a hassle with the Target coupons. I tend to hand them a pretty mixed up pile so they probably never even get a chance to notice that I am stacking coupons (which most do allow but I completely understand about not arguing). Congrats!!

Wow, that's a very successful trip you had there! I'm terrible about clipping coupons now and never get the deals. I'm impressed!

Have a great week ;)

What a great trip!!! Sorry you had problems with the Target coupons. I recently called Publix corporate office and the person I spoke with told me that each store manager has the right to accept or reject whatever coupons they want. :(

That certainly is a great trip! My advice is to find a friendly cashier and try to get him/her every time. I also help out by putting the coupon with the product as I'm putting things on the checkout counter. Great job!

That is tres impressive! Especially at Publix where they charge so much more than other grocery stores.

Coupon newbie or not, you did a great job! I only saved 50% this week, but I was under budget!

That is very impressive! I know the whole SIGH thing, but don't they WORK THERE AND IT"S THEIR JOB, right? Whatever, as long as it saves you money, you can deal with a couple of dirty looks. Good shopping!
