The view of Nassau port with very vibrant color of the Bahamas. This was our only port during our 4-night Bahamas cruise with Disney 2 years ago. It was our first cruise so I didn't know what to expect and didn't prepare much. We walked to the straw market and spent sometimes there. Then I had to find Hard Rock cafe to get my pin. See.. I'm a HRC pin collector. But I only buy the pin that represent the city or country that I have visited. We didn't do any excursion to Atlantis. Probably next trip. :)We did throughly enjoy our time there so much that 2 years later we got on another cruise vacation. I love cruising. It's such a great way to travel as a family. You plan in advance and then just enjoy your time there.

We're planning our first cruise this winter (without kids).
I still haven't managed to do a cruise with my kids. This one certainly looks like it would be fun!
With not knowing much, if anything about you, and not reading your blog for very long, I am at hope thinking "I am pretty sure this girl has a dream job of traveling around the world getting paid to stay in hotels and writing reviews about them."
Am I right?
LOL! Thanks for sharing all this! With working for an airline, I don't even get to travel this much!
Mouthwatering colors! I just want to jump into this picture, run down the dock, and start exploring.
Very fun! I haven't taken a cruise since I was little (well before cruises were family-friendly). It sounds like a good time!
I haven't done a cruise yet but I am determined to get my friends on one soon. Maybe I can use this photo to entice them!
The only cruise I've done was on a twelve-passenger boat in Alaska's Prince William Sound. I'm betting this is a little different!
Sounds like a grea trip.
@Linda: Oh! What fun! Enjoy your first cruise. You will love it.
@Wandermom: If you are a Disney fan, then there is no con. We are big Disney Dork. :) So we know our first cruise we wanted to go in style. :)
@Shannon: You just describe my dream job. Unfortunately, it's still a dream at this time. I love reading your blog too. I wish I can take photo like you.
@Jamie: I also forgot to add that the ship docked till late in the night. So you can really party there into the night.
@Angela: Yes. I agree that cruising has changed to become more family-friendly. I never thought about cruising until recently.
@k.a.t.cavin: I will be glad to help to get your friend on the ship. :)
@Dominique: This was like a floating hotel. Hmm.. More like a floating resort or city. It's huge and has so many things to do.

What a gorgeous view :) I've only been the Nassau once, and we thought it was beautiful years ago.
The one cruise we've done (a nile river cruise from Aswan to Luxor) wasn't a great fit for us, so we never tried another... but as the kids get other cruising is starting to look more attractive. All those great activities onboard combined with an opportunity to visit some new places
Thanks for sharing
