This past weekend we were very busy as we celebrate Easter in our house.

First of, we attended church on Friday night for the Easter Service. It's the same service as Sunday. In turn, I help created more seats to be available for other guests on Sunday. The kids were sitting with us. They were doing pretty well considering. :) I just had to take Mr. Z to little boy room a few times. Everyone was so understanding. Plus it helped that he looked so darn cute in his jacket and tie.
On Saturday, we joined our neighbors for Easter Eggs Hunt at First Redeemer Church. It was such a beautiful day perfect to celebrate the good news! The kids had a blast. Who wouldn't like running around picking up candies from the ground. Then we had lunch with our friends. It was nice getting to hang out with them. We need to do this more.

Sunday was busier than normal. First I woke up early to volunteer at church as normal while the kids and Mr. Rojo slept in. When I got home, we just hung out a bit. Then we just couldn't pass up on such a nice day out. We headed to pick up some fast food to eat at that the park.
Windermere park is just less than 5 minutes from our house. It's great park. Not too big and not too small. Plus they do have a dog park for our little newest family member. The kids enjoyed riding on their bikes. I got little exercise from chasing after them.

When we got home, we made our Easter Eggs. It was fun for them to learn the color. I learned it myself. We made one for each of us including Java. :) No more eggs hunt at home. Since they each already had 2 eggs hunt. One from school and another one on Sat. There are only so much sugar they can take. After that, they took a nap and woke up to a nice family dinner.
